Meet the Baker

Hi, I’m Jasmine the face behind Jasmine Taylor Made Cakes!

Jasmine Taylor Made Cakes began in 2016, creating custom cakes and desserts for friends and family. During Year 12, I started my apprenticeship as a pastry chef after completing my Certificate II in Food Processing. I then completed two years of my apprenticeship along with my Certificate III in Cake & Pastry before deciding to follow my dream and start my own business.

My passion for baking started when I was 11 years old. I was always searching for new recipes, experimenting in the kitchen, and even reading baking recipes while at school and saving cupcake images to my USB haha. I was once told that the dream I believed in wasn’t realistic and that it only happened on TV but that only gave me more motivation to chase it.

Over the years, I’ve worked across hospitality, youth work, retail, management, project coordination, and team leadership, but nothing has ever fulfilled me the way baking does. Creating cakes and desserts for people’s special moments is what I truly love.

The support from my partner, family, friends, and loyal customers has been incredible. Every like, share, order, and conversation means the world to me, and I’m so grateful to have you be part of this journey.
